The Valkyrie has been in my bag for over a decade. In fact, I now have two Valks in my bag. One is a 148 GStar that will fly straight for a long way with no wind. It also works well with a tail wind. The other one is a 174 Star Valk that handles the wind better than the 148 GStar. If its a strong wind Ill go with something more overstable like an Instinct or Hurricane.

In lighter weights the Valkyrie gives new players extra distance. Lighter weights also give players extreme range when thrown downwind, while maximum weights can give excellent upwind distance. The Valkyries high speed turn and flight characteristics make it great choice for long range turnover shots and rollers.
